Best Gifts for Travelers

I know I'm just starting to enter this arena of world traveling, but I've done my fair share of purchasing and research to know some pretty handy and fun gifts you can give to anyone who loves to spend time abroad!
*Disclaimer: These are affiliate links. I get a small commission for products you purchase through my links but thankfully without any extra cost to you!*

1.  Airbnb Gift card

Seriously who books hotels anymore!? With the affordability and convenience of booking hostels, it's no wonder why travelers much prefer using sites like Airbnb.

2. Scratch off Map

What's cooler than a map of the world?  A map you can track where you've been and see all the places you've traveled.

3. Anti- Theft Backpack

It's not unheard of to have important things like your wallet or phone stolen while seeing the wonders of the world. So think ahead and purchase one of these backpacks designed specifically to prevent you from being the victim of pickpockets. Honestly so worth it!

4. Zipfizz- Quick fix for Jet Lag

There are plenty of ways to get on top of Jet Lag. But instead of inserting a coffee IV or trying to pre-plan a wacky sleep schedule pour one of these in your water bottle. You'll have a natural punch of vitamins that are going to energize you and help you ease into any time adjustments you'll be making.

5. Wall Tapestry

It's always sad coming home from a trip. That's why I love hanging things like this up to remind myself why I'm working so hard! And come on, you can't beat $10.

6. Tripod and Mounts

You know what I mean when I say ya gotta do it for the Gram. Especially if you're traveling solo and you are too embarrassed to ask someone to take your picture, set up your handy dandy tripod and do it yourself! And if you don't have a DSLR camera you can get one of these phone mounts with a Bluetooth clicker and you'll have perfect pics to make all your friends jealous.

7. Country or Map Vinyl

I loved ordering this to put on my laptop. You can put them anywhere and its a great way to subtle ly personalize things and show your love for travel.

8. Travel Kit

Whoever says they haven't forgotten something like their toothbrush for a trip is lying. These kind of kits are super easy because everything is pre-packed and really convient.

Alrig,ht that's it! These are some of my favorite purchases and I know they'll be a hit with you or your loved one!

Danse de Macabre

Alrighty, I been really reflecting on this night and I hope I can say something of as equal excellence that I learned that night as it the night felt to me. So long story short my host mom is a really rad woman, is the president of this women's community club, and they were having a banquet to celebrate awarding a community group best costume in the parade and Festival the city has every September. The festival is all about the dance of the dead. Which is essential to remember that this life is special and even leaving it needs to be celebrated as something remarkable.  This festival is a big deal like these people aren't messing around. Anyway, she let me tag along and since we aren't in tourist territory there was basically no one who spoke English. I stood awkwardly by one of F's friends and then when it came time to sit I ended up with this man, L, and the Governor for the district and his wife.  All of which spoke English, I was delighted, to say the ...

All Roads Actually Lead to Rome

I remember sitting at the dinner table and asking Papino if all roads actually lead to Rome. He answered saying, of course, you have to be facing the right direction but eventually, this road leads to that road and you'll find yourself in Rome. Well, my friends, I have found this to be true. Roma, what a dream come true. I can tell you little Adia did indeed cry seeing the Fontana di Trevi for the first time. The Colosseo is grand and I have many more places to discover. Although like I expected my favorite moments were when I was taking a break at the parks just sitting and soaking it in. If you want to take any piece of travel advice from me I demand it be this: Always find a park for optimal enjoyment. Yeah just a local parco di gioci. Or whatever is vicino. This is how to have the ultimate best place because A) You can find the most dogs there. B)You can always find a place to sit if you think your feet might fall off. C) If you are lucky they'll have a musician playing...
